Don't write the ACT Party off.
That's the message from ACT's leader and lone MP John Banks as he heads into today's party conference on Alan Gibbs' farm northwest of Auckland.
With support languishing in the polls, the theme of today's conference is rejuvenation.
Speakers include former MP Rodney Hide, Mr Gibbs, and the economist Eric Crampton.
The Epsom MP is vowing to stand for Parliament at next year's election - with one goal in mind.
"I'm absolutely committed and only in the Parliament to ensure that we don't have those people on the other side of the house anywhere near the leaders of power. I've never seen a Labour Party more unfit to govern in my whole lifetime."
