Focus on Chch as Labour wraps caucus

By: Katie Bradford-Crozier | Latest Political News | Tuesday October 9 2012 11:54

Christchurch is front and centre in the Labour Party's plans as MPs wrap up a two-day caucus retreat in the city today.

Leader David Shearer accepts the party has some work to do after disappointing results there at the last election.

"We're being positive but at the same time making sure that we hold the Government to account on what's going on as well."

David Shearer says the post-quake rebuild and education sector reforms are areas where the Government needs to be held to account.
