Different polls are telling very different stories about how our political parties are faring.
A just released Reid Research poll has National on almost 49 percent support - that's a clear eight points more than it scored in a Roy Morgan poll from last week.
Both surveys have Labour polling around 33 percent.
However there are disparities for the Greens - the Reid Research poll has the party at 10.6 percent while the Roy Morgan Poll has them at 13.5 percent.
And New Zealand First is below the five percent MMP threshold according to Reid Research, yet Roy Morgan has it comfortably above the margin.
