Hone Harawira takes a swipe at Maori Party

Mana MP Hone Harawira is taking a swipe at his former Maori Party colleagues as they continue to argue over the party's future leadership.

Mr Harawira is accusing Maori Party MP Te Ururoa Flavell of being behind his ousting from the party and maintains it was because of Mr Flavell's leadership aspirations.

He says Mr Flavell is being backed by Tariana Turia who seems unable to retire gracefully without trying to control her party.

Mr Harawira says Pita Sharples was always going to be in the firing line after he left the Maori Party and that is now the case.
