Greens launch counter-attack to youth wage

The Greens have lodged a complaint with the Human Rights Commission over changes to the youth starting out wage due to begin in April.

Co-leader Metiria Turei says it discriminates on the basis of young workersâ employment status.

She argues it therefore contravenes the Human Rights Act.
