Norman lodges police complaint over GCSB's actions

| Latest Political News | Friday September 28 2012 15:53

The tables are being turned with the police being asked to investigate the Government's spy agency for illegally eavesdropping on Kim Dotcom.

Green co-leader Russel Norman has lodged a complaint with the police today saying the Government Communications Security Bureau broke the law and should now face the consequences.

And Dr Norman says if John Key's serious about a person's right to privacy he should back the police investigation.

"The Prime Minister made a big song and dance when his conversation with John Banks was taped, the 'teapot tapes' scandal, and of course he complained to the police about that issue. This is a much more serious breach of the law."
