Greens seeking inquiry over public sector salaries

| Latest Political News | Friday October 12 2012 9:23

The Green Party's seeking an inquiry into salaries paid to public sector chief executives.

Kennedy Graham's concerned at pay rate and pay rises disclosed in this year's state sector chief executive remuneration report.

"I'm calling for a commission of inquiry to review the whole basic assumptions and basic structure on which the CEO public service sector salaries are based. This is not good enough.

Mr Graham says the salaries being paid are all excessive and reflect a society that is out of kilter.
