Parliament has wrapped up for the year with a fiery debate. The Prime Minister kicked the adjournment debate off by insulting every opposition party. He says Labour MPs end the year divided, disillusioned and pondering their future. "What on earth did David Shearer write to David Cunliffe in his Christmas card? Thanks for all your hard work DC, and support during the year. Your loyalty means a lot to me!" Labour leader David Shearer hit back, saying 2012 is a year the Government is trying to forget. "2012, sir, will be described as the year of the brain fade; the year that the PM's memory suddenly went dot-gone." Parliament will resume at the end of January. Photo: Ed Swift |
