A voucher system designed to help research and development in smaller businesses is being labelled a failure. Labour MP Megan Woods is damning the performance of the Government's technology voucher system saying less than four million dollars has been allocated in two years. She says that's well short of the $20 million target the Prime Minister set over a four year period. "Really it's about trying to make it as streamlined and as simple as possible. In a former life before I became an MP, part of my job was working with companies filling out those forms, incredibly complicated, could take a whole lot of time, and time that a lot of businesses simply don't have."
