Further details are set to be released about privacy failures at the Ministry of Social Development.

The Ministry has been under investigation since it emerged Work and Income kiosks could be used to access confidential MSD data and peoples' personal information.

Chief executive Brendan Boyle is due to give a press conference tomorrow covering findings from the first phase of the inquiry.

It'll coves the circumstances and cause of the breach.
