Further tax concessions for Hollywood all but ruled out

| Latest Political News | Tuesday October 2 2012 5:17

The Prime Minister's all but ruling out giving any further tax concessions to Hollywood.

He heads to California tomorrow for a series of meetings with US movie studios and industry representatives.

John Key says any suggestions will be listened to, but at the moment the Government doesn't have any money and is trying to get back to surplus.

He says making tax concessions would cost money.

Mr Key says the aim of the trip is to keep New Zealand on the radar of the big movie companies.
