Politician suggests homosexuality is a choice

Conservative Party leader Colin Craig has sparked a storm of debate by suggesting homosexuality is a choice.

Mr Craig's comments are being described as dangerous, homophobic and ignorant.

And his suggestion abuse during childhood increases the likelihood someone will turn out gay, has left a lot of people stunned.

It's been a hot topic of discussion on Twitter, with one person saying homosexuality is a choice in the same way breathing is a choice.

Mr Craig's also received a barrage of angry replies to his Tweet which says "it's just not intelligent to pretend homosexual relationships are normal."
