MP Wall reassures churches over upcoming Bill

By: Katie Bradford-Crozier | Latest Political News | Friday July 27 2012 15:28

Churches are being reassured they have nothing to fear from gay marriage.

Labour MP Louisa Wall will soon have her marriage equality bill debated in parliament.

She says it treats all couples the same and won't force churches to make changes to the way they administer the sacrament of marriage.

Ms Wall says they will still decide who they wish to marry in their church.
