Key criticises Labour's SkyCity stance

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Political News | Saturday June 16 2012 5:51

The Prime Minister has criticised Labour's stance on the controversial SkyCity convention centre deal.

John Key has been under pressure this week following the Auditor General's Office decision to investigate how the project was tendered.

But the Prime Minister says Labour's playing games and a similar deal was struck when they were in power.

Mr Key says Labour also supported the current plan, when it was announced a year ago.

"If they want to change their mind for politics they are free to do that but they shouldn't try and con New Zealanders with some new moral stance that they didn't have in government or twelve months ago."
