Honesty demanded over climate change commitments

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Political News | Monday October 29 2012 7:28

Honesty's being demanded of the Government over its future international climate change commitments.

With the commitment period for the Kyoto protocol coming to an end, there's speculation the Government won't commit to future obligations.

Green MP Kennedy Graham says it's time the Government made its position clear.

He says no announcements have been made reducing our future emissions and the Government's sole remaining policy is it's target of a 15 percent cut by 2020 which is riddled with unattainable conditions.

Dr Graham says it shows an abject failure of leadership.
