Aid being sent to Philippines typhoon victims

Aid is being sent to victims of a typhoon in the Philippines.

Foreign Minister Murray McCully has announced half a million dollars for the International Red Cross, to help those affected by the recent Typhoon Bopha.

Over 400 people have been killed and around 230,000 affected by the storm.

The aid funding will go towards essential relief work.
