The results of the Auditor-General's investigation into Labour MP Shane Jones' handling of the Bill Liu immigration case is expected to be released tomorrow.
An inquiry was launched last year into Mr Jones decision in 2008, as immigration minister, to grant Liu citizenship.
A draft report was sent out to interested parties last month.
The final version is due to be tabled in parliament at 2pm tomorrow.
If Mr Jones is cleared, it paves the way for him to return to Labour's front bench.
