Len Brown is urging the Government to pass the Alcohol Reform Bill as soon as possible.

The Mayor of Auckland spoke to the Hospitality Conference in Wellington, saying he wants communities and the industry to engage in solutions alcohol-related issues.

He says passing the bill needs to be speedy, so local communities can have more say over the number, hours and location of liquor outlets, and the policies which regulate alcohol in their areas.
