By: Aroha Tahau | Latest Political News | Saturday September 22 2012 9:19

The Conservative Party is holding its first-ever conference in Auckland this weekend.

Party leader Colin Craig will give a key note speech this evening addressing the need for conservative New Zealanders to realise they have a voice.

Mr Craig expects a strong turnout, he says more than 150 people attended the opening banquet last night.

The party believes there's a high level of interest from people across the country.
