Attorneys-General from around the world have agreed to work more closely to fight sexual violence against women and children.
Ministers from Canada, Australia, the United States, New Zealand, England and Wales met in Auckland yesterday for annual talks.
They agreed to share best practices, research and evaluation of legislation, support programmes for complainants and witnesses and prevention measures.
They also plan to take a specific interest on the impact of sexual violence on indigenous and immigrant communities.
