John Key defends Hollywood trip

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Political News | Monday October 1 2012 18:21

John Key's defending his trip to Hollywood, saying it's all about jobs for Kiwis.

The Prime Minister will dine with Hollywood's movie moguls this week as he tries to get more films made in New Zealand.

Many of them are at the centre of the piracy case against Kim Dotcom.

Labours says the timing of the trip's interesting, given the controversy surrounding Dotcom.

But Mr Keys says it has nothing to do with it.

"Yep, there'll always be conspiracy theorists out there, but I'm interested in jobs, not people who live in Fantasy-land and want to make things up."
