Investigators will be picking through the debris of a huge tyre fire in Invercargill this morning. They're already clear the blaze was deliberately lit yesterday afternoon, sending a vast plume of black smoke billowing into the air. Firefighters used foam to battle the blaze, and spent three hours putting it out. Our reporter in the city witnessed several nose-to-tail collisions, as drivers were distracted looking at the fire.
