Social networking users have a new app to help them get from A to B, and find the latest places to wine and dine.
TomTom has released the latest version of its app for iPhone and iPad, which fully integrates TomTom navigation with social media applications.
The new version automatically plans routes based on information from Facebook events and places.
Public Relations Manager for Asia Pacific Valerie Cross says if friends have checked into a restaurant on Facebook, users can now drive straight there because the app can navigate to the venue.
Additionally, drivers can use the app to share their destination and arrival time on Twitter, Facebook, by email and by SMS text.
