Valerie Adams will get her Olympic shotput gold medal in Auckland next week.
Adams is returning to New Zealand from Switzerland next Wednesday and will receive the medal at The Cloud on Auckland's waterfront that evening.

The medal will be presented by the Governor-General Sir Jerry Mateparae.
Fellow Olympic champions Mahe Drysdale, Eric Murray, Hamish Bond, Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie, as well as other medalists and members of the London Games team will also attend.
More than 2,000 public tickets will be given away to attend the event.
More than 2,500 people are expected to gather at the free public event.
