The Rugby Union is still taking flak over the decision to slap a new brand on the All Blacks jersey. Criticism of the AIG sponsorship deal is all over the team's official Facebook page, which has just under two million followers. "Disgraceful," "dumb," "stink," and "ugly" are some of the adjectives being thrown around. The NZRU has responded by posting a video with the likes of veteran All Black Keven Mealamu talking up the deal. CEO Steve Tew says the players have been supportive, but he accepts the decision won't be popular with everyone. Photo: Getty Images |
