Newstalk ZB NZ's number one radio station

Newstalk ZB is once again New Zealand's top radio station.

Ratings released today show ZB is number one for people aged 10+ on a 12.9 percent national share*, up 0.5 points.

The Mike Hosking Breakfast on Newstalk ZB continued to dominate breakfast ratings with a growth in audience share to be number one on 16.6%**, a massive 11.9% lead over Radio Live breakfast.

In Auckland TRN continues to have three of the top five stations - Newstalk ZB grew its number one audience share to 13.9%and is the station’s twenty first consecutive number one ranking.

Newstalk ZB general manager Dallas Gurney is rapt with the result.

"These ratings are very much consistent with ZB's dominance over a number of decades. It reflects the quality of our hosts, our reporters and the entire broadcasting team."

Nearest talk competitor Radio Live placed tenth in the ratings*.
