There are hopes there'll soon be more opportunities to fly directly between New Zealand and Indonesia. John Key's visiting the country with a business and trade delegation. That includes Auckland Airport, which has signed a deal with Garuda Airlines that commits to re-opening air links between the nations. Auckland will be Garuda's first destination in New Zealand as soon as market conditions and aircraft availability allows. It comes not long after Air New Zealand decided to restart direct flights to Bali. Photo: AAP |
