Police seeking help in missing woman search

By: Nina Burton | New Zealand News | Friday August 10 2012 15:02

South Auckland Police are wanting help finding a 33-year old woman, who was last seen in June.

Rae Portman, also known as Bok, went missing on Wednesday June 20, but wasn't reported missing until Monday July 2.

Detective Inspector Mark Gutry says she travelled from Hamilton to Auckland on June 20, checked into a Mt Albert motel, but never checked out the following day.

He says she did know her way around Auckland.

"She was a regular visitor to Auckland. She had a number of friends and associates in the Auckland area."

Detective Inspector Gutry says the car she was driving is a silver coloured VW Passat, which has been recovered and examined.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police.
