Crafar land sale not discussed today

By: Felix Marwick | New Zealand News | Monday April 16 2012 18:13

The Crafar Farm land sale to Chinese business interests hasn't been on the table at bilateral talks between the Government and China today.

Finance Minister Bill English has met with senior Chinese politician Jia Qingling at Parliament this afternoon

He says the Crafar land sale, which is awaiting a final decision, was not raised in the meeting.

"There was no direct discussion about Crafar farms, it was the kind of official discussion we often have with the Chinese leadership."
