Civil Defence keen to hear 'Shake Out' experiences

By: Kaye Klbyt | New Zealand News | Wednesday September 26 2012 17:45

What were you doing at exactly 9.26 this morning?

If you dropped, covered and held on, Civil Defence wants to hear about it.

The first nationwide earthquake drill was held with schools, workplaces and even tourists taking part.

Director John Hamilton says it's been fascinating hearing about what people did, and it's not late to have your voice heard.

"On the 'Get Thru' website the link to Shake Out remains open until October 10. If you haven't registered, you can register to report what you did."
