Sun set to return for upper North Island

By: Anna Cross | New Zealand News | Monday October 22 2012 8:08

The best place to be this Labour Day for some sunshine looks to be the upper North Island.

WeatherWatch.co.nz expects morning showers to clear, with the sun set to return.

Further south will be hit by a wintry southerly, with snow on the Southern Alps down to 300-400 metres.

Christchurch, Dunedin and parts of Southland will be lucky to reach a high of 10 degrees today.
