Man arrested after body found in Auckland

A man has been arrested and charged with murder after the body of a 36-year-old man was found at an Auckland property today.

The body was found at a Balmoral Road address.

Police are still notifying the deceased man's next of kin.

A scene examination is underway and is expected to continue for some days.

It's unclear how the two men knew each other but both were residents at the address.

A 38-year-old man will appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow.
