The Meatworkers' Union is disputing a claim by Affco that it's rejected an offer to get workers back to work.
Affco says it's offered a plan to progressively restart all striking workers, if the Union ends strike action and engages in meaningful mediation.
However, the Meat Workers' Union says it's prepared to lift strike action, provided the company will agree a timetable to lift the lockout on all workers.
General Secretary Dave Eastlake says the strike is only in place in response to the lockout, and he adds the union is also seeking an urgent Court hearing on the lockout's legality.
