Man snaps up BMW for just $1

| New Zealand News | Thursday August 9 2012 15:03

Human error has seen a Christchurch man snap up a BMW for just $1.

Stadium Cars accidentally listed the 1994 model on TradeMe, with a buy now price of $1 yesterday morning, and it was quickly bought before they had a chance to withdraw the auction.

Spokesman Mike Nokes says it was a basic mistake, and should have got around $3,000 for the vehicle.

He says they were happy to honour the deal, and handed over the keys to the lucky buyer yesterday afternoon.
