'Shark' sighting at Muriwai Beach

By: Anna Cross | New Zealand News | Friday March 8 2013 15:21

It appears people heading to Muriwai Beach are being a bit overcautious.

Surf Lifesaving crews were tasked to check out a shark sighting at the beach west of Auckland, where Adam Strange was killed by two sharks a week and a half ago.

However, chairman Tim Jago says the 'shark' was in fact two Maui's dolphins.
