Dotcom looks forward to finishing album

By: Newstalk ZB staff | New Zealand News | Monday April 2 2012 14:49

Kim Dotcom is looking forward to finishing his music album.

The Megaupload founder was successful in the North Shore District Court today in seeking to have some of his bail conditions relaxed.

He's pleased he's now able to travel to an Auckland recording studio two days a week to complete the dance music album he's been working on with international artists.

"Well I've worked on it already for almost a year so a lot of love and time went into it so of course I'd like to finish it," he says.

"I think everyone will be surprised, I don't want to talk too much about it. It's going to be dance music."

Dotcom is now also able to access the internet and is able to swim in the pool for ninety minutes each night at the Coatsville mansion he rents.

Dotcom says being able to go online will make it easier for him to prepare for his extradition hearing in August.

"I'm also happy that I can use the swimming pool because my back is a little bit painful and it's good exercise for my back."

Judge David Harvey has also praised Dotcom and his co-accused, for adhering to their strict bail conditions to date.
