Dotcom after internet, pool and studio access

Kim Dotcom's lawyer is confident his client will be able to access the internet by the end of the day.

The Megaupload founder is back in court today fighting one of his bail conditions which prevents him from going online.

His lawyer Paul Davison QC says Dotcom needs internet access to prepare for his extradition hearing in August.

"I think it's very important that he get internet access and I'm hopeful it will be granted."

Paul Davison QC says Dotcom needs to communicate with his co-accused as well as lawyers in the US.

He's also pushing for Dotcom to have access to a pool at the Coatesville mansion for an hour and a half each day.

Dotcom's also asking for permission to attend a Newton recording studio so he can complete a music album he's working on with international musicians.
