A giant sculpture of Gollum will greet visitors to Wellington's airport over the coming months. Sir Richard Taylor has unveiled the Weta Workshop creation which is hanging above the airport's food court. PHOTOS: Images of Gollum at the airport The 13 metre long sculpture shows Gollum's upper body and out-stretched arms and a gleeful face reaching for several fish hanging in front of him. It took three days to install the giant sculpture which will act as a gateway to greet the many visitors expected in the capital for the world premier of The Hobbit next month.
