Names released for two of missing men

By: ARN | New Zealand News | Sunday July 8 2012 11:01

The names of two of the three missing crew aboard the helicopter currently missing in Papua New Guineahave been released by HeviLift.

The missing men are 49-year-old New Zealander Antony Annan - a Deputy Chief Pilot and 42-year-old Captain Russell Aitken, a Rotary Wing Pilot.

Fears are mounting for their safety as the search continues for the wreckage of their helicopter in Papua New Guinea.

Authorities say the chopper was flying in reduced visibility and low cloud when it put out a mayday call before going down at Mount Hagen on Friday

Those on board are employees of charter service company HeviLift.
