New Zealand has the second fastest mobile broadband in the world.
That's according to testing over the last month by analytics firm Ookla.
Their Net Index today shows New Zealand's average mobile speed as 20.9 megabits per second.
That's behind first-placed Iceland at 26.2 megabits, and ahead of third-place Australia at 19.3.
And the fastest speeds in the country can be found in the Auckland suburb of Penrose.
When it comes to wired broadband, New Zealand lags in 42nd place with an average of 17.7 megabits per second.
That's still faster than Australia, but slower than the OECD average of 20.4 megabits.
