Coca-Cola Amatil recalls Schweppes products

By: Adam Walker | New Zealand News | Saturday February 16 2013 10:30

Coca-Cola Amatil has recalled five drinks, because there might be fragments of glass in the bottles.

The lines affected are all Schweppes-branded - Lemonade, Tonic Water, Soda Water, Dry Ginger Ale and Soda Lemon Twist - in 330ml glass bottles.

They have been recalled because of a fault in a small number of bottles, which may have chipped finishes and glass fragments.

The recall notice is for bottles with best-before dates of January 10 and 30, 2014.

Affected consumers should contact Coca-Cola Amatil, who are promising to replace affected products.
