Kiwifruit vine disease Psa discovered at Kerikeri orchard

Turners & Growers has discovered kiwifruit vine disease Psa at one of its orchards in Kerikeri.

The company says it's confined to a one hectare block within one orchard and around 20 hectares of vines are being removed.

A quarantine area has been established.

Kiwifruit Vine Health has also set up a 'Kerikeri controlled area' which includes 102 orchards in the region.
