The Lotteries Commission has revealed it's sitting on a mountain of unclaimed prize money, which grows by $10 million every year. The New Zealand Herald reports that since 2005, $75 million worth of prizes have remained untouched. Mostly of it is in smaller amounts but there are two unclaimed First Division tickets both worth more than $300,000. Both were bought at the same shop at Beachlands near Auckland and only a few weeks apart. Photo: NZ Herald |
