By: Nina Burton | New Zealand News | Saturday October 20 2012 9:45

Auckland's waterfront is starting to fill up for the Triathlon World Championships.

NewstalkZB's Mark Watson says it'll be huge event, with a TV audience of 25-million expected worldwide.

He says it'll also being a substantial cash injection to the city.

"Probably outside of the Commonwealth Games in 1990, the Rugby World Cup last year, this would have to be up there in terms of one of the biggest events to come to Auckland."
