Dotcom appealing bail decision

Kim Dotcom is trying to convince a High Court judge to let him out of jail until an extradition hearing takes place.

The Megaupload founder has gone into the witness box as he appeals an earlier District Court decision to deny him bail.

He's being questioned by the lawyer acting on behalf of the United States.

She's presented evidence from the police saying Dotcom fled from them when they arrived at his Coatesville mansion.

But Dotcom says police are lying and he willingly gave himself up.

He maintains he is not a flight risk and has no funds available as his assets have been seized.
