The occupants of a west Auckland house will have to spend Christmas elsewhere this year, after a blaze destroyed the property. The Fire Service received several calls just before 3am about a Henderson house, well involved in fire. A search had to be carried out as it was initially thought someone was trapped inside. It turned out everyone did get out safely, but the Fire Service says the property is uninhabitable. Photo: NZ Herald |
