Public info still sought over bus driver's death

By: Newstalk ZB staff | New Zealand News | Monday April 30 2012 7:07

Police investigating the death of Lower Hutt bus driver Herman Curry are still seeking information from the public, despite four youths coming forward over the incident.

Mr Curry died on Friday night at the Waterloo Interchange bus depot.

Two youths aged 15 and 16 have been referred to Youth Aid, and two men aged 17 and 20 will appear in the Lower Hutt District Court tomorrow.

Police say preliminary results of a post-mortem examination show no evidence of injuries consistent with an assault.

Detective Inspector Darrin Thomson says the investigation is far from over.

He says police are interested in hearing from any witnesses to a Toyota Previa in the Cudby and Pohutukawa Street area between 9pm and 10pm on Friday evening.
