Name released of man found in Wellington Harbour

By: Joe Gilfillan | New Zealand News | Sunday August 19 2012 19:26

The 49 year-old man whose body was recovered from Wellington Harbour last night was Leon Grant Scurrah from Lower Hutt.

Mr Scurrah had been setting with a friend when their boat capsized and sank yesterday afternoon.

Neither man was wearing a lifejacket, though they did have several stowed in their boat.

Divers recovered the boat today, and the matter has been referred to the Coroner.
