ANZ set to make major announcement

The ANZ is about to making a major announcement.

The bank has summoned reporters to a news conference at its Auckland headquarters.

It says the announcement from the chief executive is about rebranding.

There's been speculation today that the ANZ will be scrapping the National Bank brand.
