Police are questioning the 10-year-old cousin of a New Zealand boy shot dead in Fiji. The NZ Herald reports that 6-year-old Mohammed Khan, who is from Auckland, was killed on Saturday night at a house his parents are building near Lautoka. A 14-year-old was also hit and was taken to hospital in a critical condition. Fiji police say Mohammed Khan was with a relative who owned the gun, which was used for shooting wild pigs and goats. He is in custody. It's understood the 10-year-old and his parents are also being questioned. Photo: Getty Images |
